Sue Henderson

We would like to recognize Sue Henderson, Ph D., on her appointment as President of New Jersey University.

Sue most recently was Chief Operating Office and Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Queens College, NYC.  While in this position Sue was known for her accomplishments as a successful fund raiser, her input to the design of a residence building, the Summit, and her contribution to the Queens College Study Abroad program.

She previously worked at Georgia Perimeter College where she served as an interim Provost and Provost of the Lawrenceville campus.  Sue is a major contributor to higher education and has served on many boards such as National College Consortium Initiative (NCCI).  She was the Regional coordinator for the NYC and Long Island chapter.  Sue’s personal and intellectual skills plus her incredible energy are qualities that is  an inspiration to others.


Concetta Stewart

We would like to recognize Concetta Stewart on her recent appointment as Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Mercy College.

Concetta has more than 20 years of higher education in leading institutions such as Temple University and Pratt Institute.  At Temple University, she was Dean and Associate Professor at the School of Communication  and Theater, where she initiated many new programs that resulted in increased student enrollment.

In her most recent position as Dean and Professor of the School of Art and Design at Pratt Institute, she provided strategic, fiscal and academic leadership.  Concetta is known as a leader amongst her peers and a major contributor to the National Board of the American Council on Education’s Women Network where she served a National Liaison for the states of New York, New Jersey and Delaware, and now serves as Vice Chair.   She is also on the board of directors for the American College in Greece. Concetta’s experience and skills benefit all who are privileged to know her.
